Together with Netl Events in Kraggenburg, FlunkOut hosted a CD promo party on march 24th 2018. For this special occasion FlunkOut extended their instrumental show with vocals. A swinging close harmony act by Close To Soul, bluesy croon master Dennis Koppen, jazzy Vera Carolince and Joyce Kennedy impersonator (Mothers Finest) Metha Passa brought their dash of  "Incognito, swing and blues flavors" to the groove show.

This time radio hosts Marco Verhagen and Aernout Pleket invited FlunkOut to the studio at Omroep Flevoland (Broadcast) for an update of the ongoing album promotion and the upcoming show at Netl Park, Kraggenburg: FlunkOut & Friends, march 24th.

February 2nd, 2018

Omroep Flevoland (Broadcast) invited FlunkOut for a live performance on the Radio TV show with radio hosts Jeroen van der Laan & Odeke de Jong. Footage of the entire broadcast went vical and can be seen HERE.

Harsh weather could not keep jazz-funk- fusion fan's from flocking to FlunkOut's first show in Amersfoort's Jazz & Blues club MILES. Fit for the Amersfoort Jazzfestival" as suggested by some of the connaisseurs in the audience. Jazzy atmosphere and good service!
 

January 26th, 2018

FlunkOut's start of their CD Promo Tour in the Catharinakapel in Harderwijk proved a good choice. In a cosy (film) theater filled with enthousiastic fan's and first-time-flunkouters the band laid down a live performance that lived up to the quality of their CD and more. Showhost Ab de Haas of El Mundo Radio recited a poem by Wietse Hummel, that was inspired by Beyond Even Stardust, one of FlunkOut's songs on the album.  HQ-recordings (Tetman Faber) of the show are expected to be broadcast on local radio anytime soon.

FlunkOut's Jeroen Goedhart and Pablo van der Vegt are guests at Moondance for an interview by radio host Marcel Drummel. Barry Gray tribute-song Thunderflunks was picked as favorite for the upcoming week's playlists on Radio Lelystad.

2014 was the last time FlunkOut performed at Cultural Festival OORD. A great experience than, this year we're in for some extra's and may bring a friend or 2 on stage. FlunkOut & Friends will play at the Klank Kunst Podium (stage) around 22:30.

The yaughting harbor  of Naarden will be turned into a Jazz Marina, with market stands foodtrucks and a diverse jazz programme. The line-up showing renowned jazz musicians such as  Lorrèn, MRS Hips and  Eva Surseine. FlunkOut opened the festival at 14:00. Leisurely atmosphere, with nice food and great  entertainment.

The  last four songs were recorded with master percussionist Martin Verdonk. Glad 
to have our guitar-ace Luuk Moelker back from the USA for a while! Audio-mixing and mastering are scheduled for may 12th at recording studio "het Atelier " with Frans Vollink. Artwork for the CD is in progress,

5,4,3,2,1 FlunkOut are go!........
This is the final stretch until the upcoming CD release. Two addtional tracks will be recorded next weekend at recording studio "het Atelier " with Frans Vollink at the wheel. Expect a very groovy tune and a bonus surprise on the CD, so stay tuned! ​

FlunkOut on air between 22:00 and 23:00 at Sijbrand Soul & Jazz with radio host Sijbrand Leeuwesteijn on  PapendrechtFM.

In the kind of high-spirited atmosphere that easily builds up when jazz-afficionados start sharing their most cherished masterpieces, it became clear that FlunkOut may pride itself on a growing fanbase in this friendly area close to Rotterdam. Their 2nd single:'Coffee Break"had its local debut during the show.

'Coffee Break", With an eastern funk intro this "Fourplay-plus-one" style theme evolves into a surprise latin-jazz party. Enjoy the feel of summer, sunshine and fun.

'Flunk Out!", a groovy laid-back yet spicy song, that gave the band it's name and funky reputation. The band has planned their next release, "Coffee Break",  in august 1st, 2015.

FlunkOut welcomes working with renowned Rhythm-Ace Martin Verdonk to record the percussion part of their compositions FlunkOut and Coffee Break at Studio JoDa. A great musical and culinairy honour, since Martin aka Mr.Brownie also pampered everybody with a box of his delicious "I'm-In-Choc" brownies.

With enough live-gigging-milage and feedback to blast away their last shreds of doubt, the boyz from  FlunkOut will embark on  a studio recording cycle, starting the first week-end of Februari 2015.

That could mean that their longcherished "soon-to-come-album"......will come soon!    Ahhhrrrggg...

The Urban Jungle has  participants experiencing Downtown Lelystad through theater and dance while walking through the city centre. To conclude the tour in a groovy fashion with FlunkOut. Renowned Jazz & Wine Cafe "The Twee Spieghels"  in Leiden invited FlunkOut for the first time on its intimate stage, to discover that their mix of jazz-funk-fusion and passionate presentation turns the place into a groovin' fridaynight party !
